RE: Canned Goods

I don't leave anything in mine. The winter here is too cold and everything would freeze. I learned this the hard way. The first time we brought home the trailer in the spring I spent 2 days cleaning maple syrup and shampoo of every hard surface in the trailer. What a mess! However, everything was really clean and it smelled good!

RE: Simple and easy foods

We love doing taco salad! I cook and spice the ground beef before we go and then all I have to do is heat and eat at the campground. You can change it up a bit by bringing along some snack size bags of tacos and mixing all of you ingredients into your bag and Viola! Tacos in a bag! Huge hit with kids. If you have any left over meat it's great in omletes

Companys Coming is the name of the series of cookbooks. The books is about soups. I used to have this soup all the time and loved it. I would love to find that recipe again.

How do I clean this?

I feel very lucky to have found a cast fry pan at a garage sale for $2. However it has some rust in it and I don't know how to clean in off. I'm afraid I damage it. Do I have to season this kind of pan? How do I do it?
